Open House 2

Pavethra's Open House

Well, this is another open house i'm going this week.
But, this is slightly different from the previous open house as this is Indian style.
They're celebrating Deepavali tomorrow and to my surprise, they've invited a lot of Chinese to their open house.
What a good and friendly family they're.

Well, my main reason going there is of course to enjoy the Indian food that her mum cooked.

She's a really great cook.
I really enjoyed the food. Yum Yum.
My favourite was the fruit punch (not really cooked but more to made) and murukku (dunno how to spell but it sounds like this).
They're really really really great.
Believe me.

I even enjoy their food better than the Chinese New Year food.
Well, you know, eating the same food every year at the same place with the same people.
However, that's the tradition and being a GOOD student that STUDIES moral, one of the values "mengekalkan tradisi kekeluargaan"(follow the family traditions), i still gotta follow the traditions.

From Pave's face, i can see how happy she is when her festive of season arrives despite her exam hasn't ended.
For me, as usual, CNY, i think about Angpau and new attires and biscuits.
Nothing much about others like meeting the rest of the family or whatever reason we Chinese celebrates CNY.
Perhaps it's because i still haven't got the point of celebrating CNY and i haven't missed any before.

BUT
I've come to a point and think that, next year, i must celebrate CNY 2009 unusually.
By next year CNY, i will have graduated.
I would have missed my friends and teachers.
That's my time to meet them and gather around.
I will.
Hahaha.
Smiling while thinking of that.
What will it be when the real day arrives??
