Summer Break So Far...

In order to keep my going-to-rot blog to not to rot, I gotta start typing a few words here.

I've started working as a Temporary Staff at a 5-star hotel Purchasing Department, a department that is freaking busy but only has 4 workers including me currently.
So basically what I do daily is:
 (i) Open the door since I'm always the earliest to reach.
(ii) Refill paper on the trays of printer, fax machine and photocopy machine.
(iii) Boil water (if necessary)
(iv) FILING (can use up to half a day since the amount of papers to be printed a day can be bloddy a lot)
(v) Complete whatever I'm required to do so, such as typing, keying in datas, etc.
(vi) Fax about 40-50 or sometimes even more orders to suppliers.
I think that's about it.
Waking up at 5.40am and sleeping at 10.30pm isn't enough for me; which means less time for drama :(
To keep myself awake to 10.30pm, I play with Mei Tu Xiu Xiu the whole night yesterday and just now.
I love SuJu, I love SS3! :D

Patience is Gold

Patience, is what I need to develop in me.
If I can be patient, I can avoid complaining.
If patience is in me, I can avoid silly/careless mistakes.
If I am patient enough, I can control my temper thus increase my EQ.
If I am a patient student, I can score not just PASS but with merit.
If patience is my friend, I foresee bright future in me.

So, patience, I hereby declare that I will befriend with you, for I think this is the best for me.

Without patience, I definitely cannot maintain my hair style : |

Singapore!

As a kampung girl, this is the first time me being overseas.
It's totally excited!
Different country, different lifestyle.

What I learned from this Singapore trip:
(i) Singaporeans are really kiasu people. They walk like SUPER fast in MRT stations. Even the escalators are FAST.
(ii) Everything is about $$$. Even receiving a call charges. CRAZY~
(iii) This small country is way more organised than our own city - Kuala Lumpur. I wonder I should say DBKL or BN sucks in city planning.
(iv) Everyone eats at food courts. LOL!
(v) They are healthy citizens. They play sports and the government provides enough facilities to make their people happy and healthy.
(vi) Couples can be seen anywhere and they are like super... sweet?! LOL!

Day1: Clarke Quay
Reached Spore late because we're stucked in traffic jam for about 1.5hours.
Clark Quay at night
Day2: Universal Studios!
I wish to go to the one in Hollywood because this super mini size one is already an awesome one :)

Exam Stress?

I discovered this while clearing my uni email inbox.

How will you know if you are stressed?

  • Physical: headaches, neck ache, stomach problems
  • Mood: Irritability, tearfulness, feeling low or anxious
  • Behaviour: sleeping problems, increase or decrease in appetite, difficulty in concentrating
Let's see whether I am stressed.
  • Physically, I have not much problem. Maybe some dizziness due to reading too many words and don't understand a single key point that they are trying to tell. Neck ache mainly due to sitting posture.
  • Irritability? I think so. Tearfulness - yawn too much. Feeling low? Not before papers commence cos I always drink either coffee or chicken essence so I go really high. Anxious? Hell yeah for not knowing what to write.
  • Sleeping problems? Oh I must complaint about this. My body alarm is very accurate; I wake up at 8am sharp regardless what time I sleep. But still I sleep like a pig in the afternoons. Decrease in appetite unfortunately. Cannot concentrate cos too many dramas and variety shows waiting for me?!
Exam rocks!
Running Man makes my day bright and shine! :D

Let the war continue!!! Fighting!
Oh they even recommend ways to cope with stress:
  1. Food and Drink: Try to eat at least one proper, healthy balanced meal a day. *Thanks to home meals.
  2. Exercise: Taking some form of exercise each day is beneficial. It can help to relax tense muscles and the increased blood flow round your body can help you to think more clearly. You don’t have to do anything strenuous. *Yoga and walking to market.
  3. Sleep: Get as much rest as you can; 6 to 8 hours a night are recommended. It is ideal to lie down and rest your eyes, body, and mind even if sleep is disturbed for quite a long period, though this may not be at your absolute peak of performance. *6 hours with nap.
  4. Study Pattern: Take regular breaks from studying. When you notice that you are distracted, get up and take a break. If this happens repeatedly, try studying in very short bursts of time, bringing down the time you set until it is manageable. *Definitely a failure for me.
  5. Study Skills: Effective study skills can reduce stress by making you feel more in control of your work. It is not always necessary to cover every aspect of the module in detail. *That's what everyone's doing, spot question and study as little as possible.
  6. Make Time for Relaxation: Even in the 4 weeks leading up to the exams, it is important to give yourself time off to do something you will enjoy. The occasional evening out or a few hours at the weekend will remind you that the world does not consist only of exams and academic achievement and should also help you to feel more mentally refreshed. *My mind is always full of stuff other than academic-related ones (notice there's no comma after 'stuff'). Tsk tsk.
So Management Accounting and Law B, I shall make you mine :)

I'm torturing myself till death.

Today is Tuesday.

Friday is my People and Organisation paper. Can I write 2 50marks worth of essay? Dunno.

Next Tuesday is Management, Accounting and Decision paper. Haven't touched even the notes.

Weather Talk

I would like to say, IT IS VERY HOT!
See, I have never complaint that it is raining outside as I know rainy days are precious.
Only people like my mum says something like, Why raining again? My laundries!

I want rain.
Thanks.

Without rain, I cannot study properly.
Even if the fan is blowing directly towards me, I still sweat, a lot.
And the most important thing is, I YAWN after 5 minutes touching the books/papers.

I found a new way to prevent me being sleepy.
That is to sit on the floor (cooling), read books/papers, while doing stretching/yoga (to stay awake).

:)

Wish me all the best in my finals! Yay!

Oo-mii-gosh

I discovered more negative stuff about you.
No.
It should be someone told someone more negative stuff about you and that someone told me everything.
So scary.
Dark.

This is the power of GOSSIPing.
Tsk tsk.
